The Dionysies festival is unique: it offers, each year, a dense and diverse programme merging theatre, dance, poetry, musique, singing and eloquence, for ten days fully dedicated to antique live arts. The 2016 edition reunited more than a thousand audience members around about ten shows and thematic meetings.
Initiated by the Demodocos Theatre and co-organised by the cultural Service of the Paris-Sorbonne University, the Dionysies festival also gets support from the Sorbonne University and the Sainte-Barbe Library.
